Use this online PDF merger to combine multiple PDF files into a single document. Add files, change their order, and download one merged PDF, all processed locally in your browser so your documents never leave your device.

  1. Click the Add PDFs button or drag and drop PDF files into the work area
  2. Review the list of loaded PDFs in the grid of cards
  3. Click once on a card to select it; the selected file will be highlighted
  4. When you are ready, click Save Merged PDF to generate and download a single combined file

You have full control over the order of your PDF files before merging them:

  1. Select a PDF card in the grid by clicking it
  2. Use the Move Left and Move Right buttons in the toolbar to change the order
  3. Continue adjusting until the cards appear in the order you want them to appear in the merged document
  4. The merged PDF will follow the exact order shown in the grid

You can also drag and drop PDF cards to reorder them quickly.

All merging is performed using JavaScript in your browser. Your PDFs are not uploaded to a server or stored by LeanTul. This is ideal when combining sensitive contracts, reports, or personal documents.

This browser-based approach offers several advantages:

  • Complete privacy: Your PDFs never leave your device
  • Offline capability: Once the page loads, you can merge PDFs even without an internet connection
  • Instant processing: No upload/download delays or bandwidth limitations
  • No file size limits: Process PDFs of any size without server restrictions (though very large files may take longer depending on your device)

Merging PDFs is useful when you want to combine scanned pages, join downloaded statements, or group related documents into one file for easier sharing. Typical examples include:

  • Accounting and finance: Merge invoices, receipts, and statements for record keeping
  • Meeting preparation: Combine meeting notes, agendas, and attachments into one document
  • Forms and contracts: Merge signed pages, exhibits, and supporting documents into a single final contract
  • Academic work: Combine research papers, citations, and appendices
  • Professional portfolios: Merge work samples and resume into one comprehensive PDF

If you need to split a PDF into separate documents, you can use a PDF split tool to extract individual pages or ranges.

Are my PDF files uploaded or stored?

All PDF merging happens locally in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to a server or stored by LeanTul.

Can I change the order of PDFs before merging?

Yes. You can reorder PDF files using Move Left and Move Right controls or drag-and-drop before merging. The merged PDF will follow the exact order shown in the grid.

Which file types are supported?

The tool supports PDF files only. If you need to convert other formats to PDF first, you can use a separate converter and then merge the resulting PDFs.

Will merging PDFs change the content or quality?

No. The merger combines existing pages into one file without changing their visual content. The page order is the only thing that changes.
